Draft of October 3, 2026

Privacy Policy

This policy covers one thing: the Rollup website service. It is a draft and may change before it is approved.

1. Who we are

Rollup is a website service from Co-Chair Solutions (“we”, “us”), based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Privacy contact: {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}. Postal address: {{POSTAL_ADDRESS}}.

2. Who this covers

Self-storage owners and managers who sign up; people who ask for a preview; people we email about a preview; and visitors to this site.

3. What we collect, and why

  • When you ask for a preview: the website address and email you enter. We use them to try to build the preview and, if we can, send you the link.
  • When you sign up: your email, the plan you choose, and the facility information you enter on your edit page: name, phone number, address, hours, units and prices, features, links, description, color theme and contact email. We use it to build and run your site, to bill you and to reply to you.
  • Payments: you enter your card on a page run by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number. Stripe tells us your subscription status and whether payments go through.
  • Visitors to this site: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. To limit abuse, we count requests from each IP address for a short time. These pages use no advertising or analytics trackers and no third-party scripts.

4. Previews, and emails about them

If you run a self-storage facility in the United States or Canada, we may build a private preview of your website from information you already made public: your own website and public listings. We may email the business address we found there to tell you about it.

A preview is not published. It sits at an unguessable web address, is marked to keep search engines out, and says that it is a preview. Every email has an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, we keep a one-way fingerprint of your address so that we do not email you again. To have a preview removed, write to {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} and we will remove it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while you are a customer, and afterward for as long as we need it for tax and accounting, to settle disputes and to meet legal duties. We delete preview information when you ask. We keep the one-way fingerprint of an unsubscribed address so that your choice keeps being honored. Exact periods will be set before this policy is approved.

6. Who handles your information

We use outside providers: a hosting and database provider to serve this site and store sign-up and site information, and Stripe to take payments. We do not sell personal information.

Some providers process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where authorities may be able to see it under local law.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, except for records we must keep, such as billing records. Write to {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}. We reply within 30 days. This follows Canadian federal and British Columbia privacy law. If you live in a US state with its own privacy law, you may have similar rights. Write to us and we will respond as that law requires.

8. Security

Our pages are served over HTTPS. Edit links are private and can be switched off, so keep yours private. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

9. Children

Rollup is a business service and is not aimed at children.

10. Changes to this policy

We will show the date at the top of this page and email customers about material changes.
